Scott Walker, the Brit-pop heartthrob turned experimental dark wizard, passed away on March 22, 2019. Referred to by writer William Bennett as “the outsider who united metalheads, grandmas, and David Bowie,” as years passed Walker’s music brought a pop sensibility to the macabre.
Born Noel Scott Engel in Hamilton Ohio, on January 9th, 1943, Walker emanated his Capricorn Sun and Pisces Moon. There is an earthy, morose quality to his music, a sense of loss and stark reality underfoot of his visions. The steeping of time inside a ghastly dream.
A solar system sanctuary.
